Public Speaking & Workshops

An award-winning lecturer while at the University of Guelph, Nancy Moreau Battaglia has over 35 years of experience in public speaking, training and development, education, and group facilitation. She has worked with educators, not for profits, local and national mental health agencies providing community and in-house presentations and workshops. These organizations have included: Toronto Distress Centres, Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention, Seasons Centre for Grieving Children, Newpath Family Services, Simcoe County Suicide Awareness Conference, International Children’s Palliative Care Symposium, First Nations Indigenous Health, Health Canada, Association of Death Education and Counseling .

We have a number of currently developed presentations on mental health and wellness and grief and loss for practitioners and lay-persons. These presentations are tailored to understanding the impact of loss and working effectively with individuals and groups across the developmental age span.

Hands- on expressive art workshops are available for groups/organizations looking for an experiential participant opportunity. Integrating Expressive Arts into practice(I, II) are practitioner focused workshops which explore the use of creative medium to enhance the therapeutic process.
